Team Leader GBTS System Engineering
Our BU Government Aviation is seeking for a Team Leader within the Training Systems department.
Your place of work: Stans, Schweiz
What you do:
- Lead the Ground Based Training Systems (GBTS) system engineering team activities (requirements elicitation, traceability, testing), including product architecture design, and flight physics modeling
- Coordinate product implementation activities with the software and hardware team leaders
- Support product management activities, defining technical requirements, functional requirements implementation and obsolescence resolution strategies
- Report activities and progress to the GBTS department director
- Chair regular team meetings to control team progress
What you bring:
- University master degree in aerospace engineering with knowledge of aerodynamics and flight mechanics to allow profitable decision making
- At least 10 years of experience in flight simulators design and pilot training topics
- Sound understanding of complex hardware/software/man-in-the-loop system architecture design
- Proven knowledge of ground training systems requirements management and system engineering practices (ISO 15288)
- Proven leadership skills in engineering team management
- English language skills at C1 level. German language at least at B1
