What you do
- Determine aircraft ground/flight loads (Part 23 – normal, acrobatic, commuter) with appropriate methods and techniques
- Perform linear and nonlinear aeroelastic simulations with Flutter, LCO or Buffeting
- Develope methods, including multi-disciplinary optimization and multibody model
- Document analysis work for aircraft development and certification
- Validate aircraft models with ground tests and flight tests
What you bring
- MSc degree in Aerospace Engineering with 10 years or PhD with 5 years experience in fixed wing aircraft Loads and/or Aeroelasticity
- Knowledge of multibody analysis for landing gear loads with ADAMS/VI-Grade
- Programming knowledge and experience in Matlab; Fortran, C and C++ is an advantage
- Knowledge in the certification requirements (CS/FAR Part 23 or CS/FAR Part 25)
- Fluency in English, German will be an advantage
- Attention to details, with practical approach to solve problems and interpersonal skills to interact between different departments
