Your place of work: Stans, Schweiz

What you do

  • Determine aircraft ground/flight loads (Part 23 – normal, acrobatic, commuter) with appropriate methods and techniques
  • Perform linear and nonlinear aeroelastic simulations with Flutter, LCO or Buffeting
  • Develope methods, including multi-disciplinary optimization and multibody model
  • Document analysis work for aircraft development and certification
  • Validate aircraft models with ground tests and flight tests

What you bring

  • MSc degree in Aerospace Engineering with 10 years or PhD with 5 years experience in fixed wing aircraft Loads and/or Aeroelasticity
  • Knowledge of multibody analysis for landing gear loads with ADAMS/VI-Grade
  • Programming knowledge and experience in Matlab; Fortran, C and C++ is an advantage
  • Knowledge in the certification requirements (CS/FAR Part 23 or CS/FAR Part 25)
  • Fluency in English, German will be an advantage
  • Attention to details, with practical approach to solve problems and interpersonal skills to interact between different departments
