What you do
- Development of new design solutions for aircraft structures and system integration in cooperation with specialists from various departments
- Autonomous leadership of minor and major design projects and sub-projects as part of concept and feasibility studies
- Modelling of 3D parts and assemblies with Siemens NX
- Creation of drawings for manufacturing and installation
- Support for technical requirement documents and supplier selection processes
- Support in the improvement of design guidelines and standards as well as in the introduction of new technologies
What you bring
- University degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- At least 5 years of structural design experience in the field of aerospace, experience on Landing Gear design is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting, experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is an advantage
- Experience in «Design for Manufacturing»
- Positive attitude towards continuous improvements as well as proactive and approachable personality with a high sense of responsibility
- Fluency in English, German will be a plus
