Your Tasks
- Resolve customers' structural engineering issues
- Perform stress analysis of primary and secondary aerostructures, using classical hand calculations, FEA and F&DT software
- Design structural repairs with the aid of engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
- Prepare and check structural repair memoranda and their substantiation
- Specify requirements for the update of aircraft technical publications
- Lead engineering projects, including changes to type design
With this you convince us
- Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in the field of aircraft structural engineering
- Familiarity with MSC NASTRAN, FEMAP or similar FEM packages
- Fluency in English (C1); German is an advantage
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously whilst ensuring correct prioritisation to meet customers' operational requirements
