Ground Based Training System (GBTS) Technician

Your place of work: Doha, Katar

This challenging position involves

• Daily readiness checks and carrying out the maintenance of PC-21 Ground Based Training System (GBTS) equipment (flight simulators, procedures trainers, computer based training, mission planning and debriefing system) safely, efficiently and to the highest standards
• Accurately completing maintenance records and improving associated documentation and procedures
• Supporting pilots and other customer representatives on a technical level
• Reporting and raising any observations with regard to; continuous improvement, safety management, and customer satisfaction

This position requires the following skills and background

• Professional GBTS technician with at least 5 years' experience of troubleshooting and working with simulation and associated equipment
• Have a sound knowledge of PC board-level maintenance, backup systems, Microsoft Windows networks, and basic Linux skills
• Demonstrable experience of carrying out maintenance activities accurately and in a demanding environment
• Act in a mature, well organised and professional manner and be dedicated to providing an extremely high quality output
• Be flexible about working times and willing to commit to additional effort if required
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
