Senior Engineer Composite Structures

Your Tasks

• Perform advanced structural analysis on composite structural and non-structural components for new development projects
• Take autonomous leadership of minor to major composite-related sub-projects regarding structural engineering tasks
• Prepare documentation to support design reviews, tests, technical meetings and sizing processes
• Prepare concepts and risk assessments for new composite built concepts from a structural standpoint
• Develop test concepts and plan their execution for composite components and assemblies, including related test requests and test data analysis

With this you convince us

• University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of structural analysis and a minimum of 5 years proven experience in structural analysis (using NASTRAN, FEMAP; ABAQUS is a plus) on composite aircraft structures
• Proven experience in deploying classical hand-calculation and stress analysis methods and utilizing Aerospace industry standard reference sources
• Fluent in English verbal and written, German verbal language skills count as an asset
• Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under challenging timescales in a dynamic and responsive environment
• Ability to work and maintain focus on a wide range of tasks simultaneously
