Your Tasks

• Lead all software development activities within the Airborne Software Team, managing a group of 8-10 software developers
• Oversee development and necessary troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with standards and processes as well as delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
• Define tasks, provide feedback and mentor software developers to facilitate accomplishment of goals
• Manage interfaces within and external to the organization e.g. System Engineering, Programme Management, Tool Vendors and Avionics Suppliers
• Identify and lead continuous product and process improvements, including updates of software documentation for the Pilatus Design Organization

With this you convince us

• Extensive knowledge of C and/or ADA programming, software architecture and design methodologies
• Extensive experience with application of DO-178 and associated standards e.g. DO-330, DO-331
• Knowledge of version control (Git), task management (JIRA) and requirement management (DOORS) practices
• Fluent English (C1) required, German knowledge is a plus
• Able to integrate into and lead a well-established team of software developers
• Positive, proactive and solution-oriented attitude as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and balance conflicting priorities
