You will receive training in manual production and assembly techniques for electrical and mechanical tasks. You will learn wiring and mechanics, the basics of measurement technology and how to program control units. You will work in the different departments on our aircraft assembly line. You will produce electrical pre-assemblies and aircraft wiring harnesses which you will check using the appropriate test equipment prior to aircraft installation. You will also commission electrical and avionics systems, identify and remedy faults and maintain aircraft in airworthy condition.
