You will learn the correct techniques for coating aircraft parts and get to know the quirks and special properties of the various materials to enable you to achieve a professional result. You will focus on wet paint finishes on aluminium and plastic. You will help paint entire aircraft using a variety of application techniques, designs and letterings in line with customer specifications. Rotations in other specialist areas will provide an opportunity to gain an insight into powder coatings and lettering design techniques.
