Avionics Line Technician

We have an immediate opening for an Avionics Line Maintenance Technician in our Production department at our U.S. completion center.

What you do:

  • Tests avionics equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness
  • Performs pitot/static system modification and testing including FAR 91.411 and 91.413 certification
  • Records work progress in job cards, acceptance test procedures, and other production documents as per company procedures
  • Inspects incoming aircraft and parts as per FAA Certified Repair Station (CRS) manual
  • Adheres to company procedures, FAA, and FOCA regulations and guidelines
  • Uses safety equipment and complies with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines

What you bring:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) in aviation electronics or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
  • Three to five years related avionics troubleshooting experience in PC-12 or similar turboprop aircraft with emphasis on Honeywell APEX or EPIC systems
  • FAA A&P license or meet requirements of FAR 65.101 to obtain a FAA repairman certificate
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work in restricted spaces
  • Ability to use hand tools and specialized test equipment
  • Proficiency in general computer use and MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.15
