Rotables Administrator

Take-off with Pilatus! Join the industry's top ranked Customer Support team. This position is responsible for the timely processing of rotable component repairs, vendor recovery warranty claims, and overall security of the exchange pool inventory.

What you do:

  • Core Processing
  • Process cores within 24 hours
  • Monitor time life information on all components to be reworked
  • Organize and maintain all related information for each core, including credit memos, time life information, repair orders, vendor quotes, etc.
  • Repair Order (RO) / Vendor Administration
  • Submit requests for repair quotes to vendors
  • Process repair quotes and approve repair quotes in accordance with Rules of Authority and Component Repair/Overhaul Specifications
  • Create repair orders for exchange pool inventory items and customer owned brokered repairs and follow-up with vendors to expedite repairs
  • Update all repair orders with repair costs, expected delivery dates, and findings
  • Create/update core warranty claims
  • Scan and attach to RO vendor findings (Defect Investigation Reports)
  • Process Return Material Authorization (RMA) returns from customers, including issuing credit memos, disposition parts based on RMA, and return parts to inventory
  • Vendor Recovery
  • Initiate and follow through on all core and non-core vendor recovery claims
  • Ensure warranty vendor recovery claims are processed in a timely manner
  • Update warranty claims based on vendor repair quotes
  • Communicate daily with customers and repair vendors via phone, fax, and email
  • Participate in AOG on call rotation
  • Process parts in non-conforming hold area daily
  • Perform other functions and duties as assigned by supervisor

What you bring:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2+ years related purchasing, negotiation, and/or vendor contract experience
  • Knowledge of maintenance repair and overhaul functions and FAA regulations a plus
  • Technical/analytical focus, strong organizational skills, and detail orientation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and utilize aviation technical software
  • Quantum experience a plus
