Project Leader, Metal Technologies
Our New Technologies and Testing department has an immediate opening for a Project Leader, Metal Technologies.
Your place of work: Stans, Switzerland
What you do:
- Co-ordinate metals technology advancements with production activities of internal and external suppliers including aspects of quality control and non-destructive testing
- Document all manufacturing technology advancement activities
- Co-ordinate conformity documentation for implementation and certification of new manufacturing technologies
- Provide inputs and requirements towards manufacturing infrastructure needs including associated budgeting inputs
- Take responsibility for schedule, budget and reporting for dedicated projects
- Exchange and transfer of knowledge to other departments inside and outside of the R & D Unit
- Monitor new technology trends with regard to potential implementation in new products and improvement of existing products
What you bring:
- M.Sc. degree in materials engineering or similar of an internationally recognised university with specialisation in advanced metal technologies, additive manufacturing in particular
- Experience in metals manufacturing processes in the aeronautical industry
- Experience in management of interdisciplinary projects
- German and English language skills on level B1 or better
- Solution oriented and committed to highest possible air safety standards but with an eye for the pragmatic and cost saving way forward
