What you do

  • Leading a team of approx. 20 internal and external staff to deliver and maintain software products per defined requirements
  • Development and training of team members as well as strategic planning and budgeting for the team
  • Management of projects ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Procurement of services and equipment in support of the projects
  • Administration and maintenance of team-specific IT systems/equipment/facilities
  • Publication of software development processes incl. the responsibility for Supplemental Documents and Engineering Standards

What you bring

  • University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience in the field of embedded software development, preferably in a safety-critical environment
  • Proven experience in leadership of large multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of software engineering processes, structured architecture and design methodologies
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements or situations and to balance conflicting priorities
  • Strategic focus on team development and continuous optimisation of products and processes
