What you do

• Analyse user experience requirements for all ground based training systems (GBTS) products, e.g. eLearning products, simulators user interfaces, etc.
• Create a user centric design approach for GBTS products Human Machine Interface (HMI), specifically focusing on user flows to maximize information retention
• Illustrating design ideas with process flows, concept of operation specifications or storyboards
• Implement prototypes for rapid testing and development iterations to improve the user experience related to the products core functionalities and scope (e.g. learning objectives, knowledge testing, data presentation, etc.)
• Support the definition of HMI standards for the department in terms of UI style guides
• Analyse market technology and competitors products to identify customer needs and new potential product developments

What you bring

• At least 3 years of UX/UI design
• Previous experience with UML language (e.g.: v2.5), basic HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills are a plus
• Experience with tools such as VISIO or Enterprise Architect/InVision and good knowledge of modern GUI frameworks (e.g.: Qt)
• Strong understanding of user experience and user-centered design approaches
• Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from product management, engineering and marketing
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively the design processes, ideas and solutions to teams and clients
