What you do
- Conduct investigations and drive solutions to technical problems
- Create technical specifications and system layouts
- Define and perform ground tests and define flight tests
- Create test reports and certification reports
- Define technical documentation necessary for operating the system in the aircraft (AMM, AFM, SBs)
- Handle quality and production requests of technical nature
- Ensure technical coordination with suppliers
What you bring
- Engineering degree in aeronautics or general mechanical engineering
- System engineer with at least 5 years of experience in aeronautics
- Knowledge of various mechanical systems
- Experience in at least one of the following systems: Brakes, actuators, Environmental Control System (ECS), Air Cooling System (ACS), Vapor Cycle Cooling System (VCCS), fuel system or ice and rain protection systems (IPS).
- Knowledge of electrical interfaces (bonding, wiring, EMI, EMC, HIRF) desired
- Knowledge of CS/FAR Part 23 and RTCA DO-160, -178, -254 required, Siemens Teamcenter and IBM Doors is an advantage
- Fluent in English with good written and spoken German skills
