What you do
- Structural analysis: classical static stress analysis & finite element analysis of metallic and composite airframe structure in both a development and certification-oriented environment
- Preparation of formal engineering analysis reports, occasional participation to test plans and test reports
- Cross-functional analytical support, internal liaison and potential for direct liaison / support with external supplier companies and the airworthiness authorities
- Production support (quality notifications) and occasional support to the Customer Support group (in fleet issues, repairs)
What you bring
- University graduate with at least 5 years of work experience in Stress Analysis specifically in the aerospace sector
- Solid experience in deploying classical hand calculation methodologies and utilizing industry standard reference sources
- Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP or similar finite element packages
- Knowledge of composite analysis methodologies would be an advantage
- Self-starter with the ability to work under challenging timescales in a dynamic and responsive environment
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
