What you do
- Safety assessments for Avionics and Software intensive systems on all Pilatus aircraft types and presentation to the Airworthiness Authorities
- Avionics & Software Safety Requirements definition, validation and verification
- Risk assessments to support Continued Airworthiness
- Safety classification of Engineering Changes
What you bring
- University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Systems Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in performing Safety Assessments in accordance with SAE ARP 4761: Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety Assessment (SSA) incl. Fault Tree Analysis, Common Mode Analysis (CMA).
- Practical experience of using SAE ARP 4754A for the development of civil aircraft and systems
- Both rigor in the analysis and ability to reach consensus with multiple stakeholders while maintaining compliance to the human factors and safety requirements
- Great abilities for teamwork and communication with both internal and external customers
- Fluency in English (at least C1), German would be an advantage
