What you do
- Responsibility for Environmental Control System (ECS), Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Landing gear, flight control, and related systems
- Design, development, qualification and certification of mechanical components & systems to meet FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations
- Technical reporting, in-service technical support, technical query answering and investigations
- Technical liaison and vendor management with external suppliers of systems and equipment
- Aircraft ground testing and support to flight testing
- Aircraft production support
What you bring
- University Degree or equivalent in aeronautical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum five years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration & certification environment
- Specialist knowledge in one or more aircraft mechanical system
- Environmental qualification of aircraft components to RTCA DO-160 and development of complex electronic hardware to RTCA DO-254
- Experience with requirement development, tracking, and validation
- Excellent communication skills within a multinational working environment: Good written and spoken English is essential (CEFR Level C2 or IELTS 8), knowledge of German advantageous
