Team Leader Material Planning

Pilatus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our organization as Team Leader Material Planning. In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis and forecast of spare parts while monitoring the delivery commitment dates to Service Centers and direct customers. A successful person in this role will oversee the Material Planning team within the Parts Sales department in addition to acting as a liaison between internal departments for planning purposes. What you do

  • Researches and plans spare parts provisioning for Customer Service needs
  • Organizes kits/materials to insure timely compliance of Service Bulletin and fleet upgrades/campaigns
  • Prepares and plans for life limited parts and forecasts their replacement
  • Prepares, executes, and maintains project plans, schedules, tasks, and reports
  • Supports Parts Sales, Service Centers, and direct customers with planning and provisioning efforts
  • Develops methodologies to support material planning responsibly
  • Monitors open order lists and communicates priorities to Supply Chain team
  • Assists Supply Chain in inventory planning by monitoring usage trends and forecasting future needs
  • Participates in scheduled material planning meetings
  • Reviews CMMs, AMM, IPD, and SRM and plans accordingly to support revisions of these manuals
  • Coordinates efforts with Supply Chain and Stans Material Planning to schedule material deliveries
  • Coordinates with Tech Support on material planning requirements
  • Maintains and updates recommended spare parts lists for new Service Centers and fleet customers
  • Participates in 24/7/365 AOG coverage rotation

What you bring

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience in aviation
  • 5+ years of technical experience in aviation supply chain field
  • Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations required
  • Purchasing and supplier experience highly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Professional software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to prioritize the workload and produce high quality, detailed work on a consistent basis
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.15
