Business Administrator Apprentice

Pilatus is hiring a Business Administrator Apprentice to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will rotate your time between working in the Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing departments learning a variety of business and support functions. While in Accounting you will gain an understanding of a variety of accounting procedures and how they impact the business. Human Resources will detail how the hiring process works from the interview to onboarding, as well as the benefits process and employee retention. The Marketing department will teach you how to market products on a large scale from writing copy to managing large shows. This program offers the unique chance to learn about multiple areas of an international company and find what interests you long-term while attending related courses at Front Range Community College.



An apprenticeship at Pilatus will open the door to a wide choice of career opportunities. This dual-track model allows for both work-based and classroom-based instruction. The program starts in July 2024 and the duration is 2 years. Apprentices are eligible to earn a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship from the U.S. Department of Labor.

This position will start in July 2024 with a pay rate of $16.00 an hour to start per the program guidelines

What you do

  • Supports the marketing department with creative services such as production of videos, brochures, and other marketing collateral & special projects as needed
  • Supports the full cycle of a financial transaction from start to finish, which includes assisting with financial transactions such as; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations, Aircraft files and sales, and Audit documentation
  • Gains experience in understanding the overall picture of a company's financial functions
  • Assists with recruitment activities such as job postings, administering pre-employment tests, and scheduling interviews for potential candidates
  • Coordinates event welcome packets, name tags, and registration information
  • Assists Director HR with open enrollment and other benefits related projects

What you bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Patience to learn new skills in an on-the-job training environment
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.15
