Kansas City Aviation Centre – The Authorised Pilatus Centre in the Central United States

Located in the aviation rich heart of North America, Kansas City Aviation Center (KCAC) opened in 1966 and has been part of the Pilatus Network since the year 2000. Over more than 50 years, KCAC has established a reputation for outstanding customer support and innovation across the entire aviation industry. Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd

KCAC set up shop in Olathe in the US state of Kansas, and initially served as a Piper dealer. As an Authorised Pilatus Sales and Service Centre, KCAC continues to set the bar when it comes to customer satisfaction for new and used aircraft sales as well as charter services, aircraft management, maintenance, avionics and cabin upgrades. As a member of the Pilatus network, the organisation continues to deliver on its promise of quality and has gathered many awards and accolades from the aviation industry, including the exclusive “diamond certification” for excellence in service.

Swiss precision and an above-average offering

Adding the PC-12 NG to its sales offering in the year 2000 allowed KCAC to present customers an excellent turbine-powered step-up aircraft which provided greater access to the shorter and unimproved runways prevalent in the region. The PC-12 NG is the perfect aircraft to service the multitude of remote destinations without giving up comfort or performance. Now that the PC-24 has arrived, it further expands the company’s offerings to a growing customer base. “We’re excited to be able to keep clients in the Pilatus family and also offer additional destinations to a new customer base”, says Mike Turner, Marketing Director for KCAC.

Believing that excellence in customer service doesn’t apply only in the sale of an aircraft, KCAC is a true full-service business aviation partner providing additional support in many areas. Many owners and pilots operate Pilatus aircraft, but an increasing number of customers are also attracted by these extra services with regards to charter operations and aircraft management. Everything from hiring a flight crew to worry-free aircraft management are available to all customers interested in enjoying the full benefits of private aircraft ownership.

Personal customer relationships: a top priority

According to Turner, what really sets KCAC apart is attention to personal relationships, rooted in a shared enthusiasm for aviation and ensured through long-term employee retention. Many of the team of around 100 persons have been with the company for over 20 years. “Everybody says we offer excellent customer service, but we like to prove it through the development of personal touches”, says Turner. “We set up a support account for every new customer to ensure seamless delivery of first-class customer care.” Stop by KCAC anytime and you’ll find customers enjoying a cup of coffee and sharing aviation stories with members of the staff. Such customer relationships are not only an important ingredient to a successful business, they are also part of a philosophy which KCAC and Pilatus both have in common.
