Aircraft OEM Technical Support

Pilatus is hiring an Aircraft OEM Technical Support to join our Technical Support Engineering team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will provide front line technical support to Service Centers and operators of Pilatus business aircraft. You will serve as a subject matter expert in identifying and resolving technical issues and providing feedback to customers. A successful person in this position will act as a liaison between operators, service facilities, vendors, and Pilatus to return aircraft to service in a most expeditious manner. What you do

  • Provides technical assistance in person, over the telephone, e-mail and online portal
  • Advises and supports customer or other personnel in aircraft technical needs
  • Records customer technical issues and maintain accurate support database
  • Participates in 24/7/365 technical support coverage on scheduled rotation
  • Identifies product improvement opportunities and communicate them appropriately­
  • Other Duties/Responsibilities
  • Reviews all publications (AMM, IPC, POH, SB) for technical accuracy
  • Submits publication corrections and additions to Pilatus for review and implementation
  • Assists various PilBAL departments as requested and/or required by company procedures
  • Assists with Maintenance Training class instruction
  • Provides technical expertise for warranty and CrystalCare claims processing
  • Participates in trade shows and demo tours

What you bring

  • FAA A&P or other equivalent CAA license required, IA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in aviation required
  • Minimum 1 years of Pilatus aircraft knowledge and turbine engine maintenance experience preferred
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Team oriented and self-motivated; capable of handling multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks
  • Professional manner and excellent oral/written communication skills essential
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Professional software
  • Ability to travel on short notice (~10%, up to 2 weeks at a time), both domestically and internationally
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.15
